The Battle of the BIG Bands was such a blast last year – they are tuning up for an encore!

It’s Battle of the Big Bands - Take 2!  The Water City Jazz Orchestra and the Big Band Reunion will square off AGAIN for a high-vibe,  fun-filled competition.

​

Friday, September 26, 2025 Becket's Atrium in Oshkosh - 2 Jackson Street.

​

All proceeds from the evening will benefit the Casa Esther Catholic Worker House, which supports families and individuals in Winnebago County communities who are in desperate need of temporary assistance to meet their basic living needs as they work toward become self-sustaining. The funds will also support our peace-making advocacy and youth gardening programs, which support our local food pantries.

​

YOU can contribute to these important works all while enjoying a night of the best jazz music around. The Big Band Reunion and the Water City Jazz Orchestra are renowned in the Fox Valley area for keeping the big band, jazz legacy alive and are the best of the best musicians in the area.

​

The fun begins at 6:00 with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. We'll have an on-site silent auction, wine and chocolate pulls, a 50/50 raffle and music that'll knock your socks off!

The mission of Casa Esther is to lend our voice and effort to the cause of the poor by offering a safe place to ask for help as they move towards self-sufficiency. We advocate for issues of social justice and work to preserve a sustainable planet for all.
